FFV EDUCATION GRANTS
Freemasons Foundation Victoria may approve, under the terms of its Trust Deed, assistance to Victorian Craft Lodges to support them in contributing to the education of children in local schools through means of a FFV Education Grant.

As a general guide, the support can be awarded on the basis of academic achievement or financial need.

FFV MASONIC GRANTS
Masonic Orders can apply to Freemasons Foundation Victoria on behalf of their local nominated charity to support projects in the areas of Health & Medical Research, Community Development, Education, Youth Development Programs and Indigenous Programs.

Masonic Orders:

Craft Lodges warranted and on the register of the United Grand Lodge of Victoria.

Mark Lodges warranted and on the register of United Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Victoria.

Chapters warranted and on the register of Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Victoria.

There is a maximum of $10,000 available from FFV per Lodge per year.

Funds raised by your Lodge could be matched on a 1 to 4 basis.

The Foundation will not fund a project designed to benefit an individual or a family and does not support general fundraising appeals.

Copy of minutes showing the amount being contributed and the amount requesting from the Foundation must be attached to the application.

The Foundation reserves the right to decline an application or vary the amount applied for in accordance with the Foundations policies and guidelines.

Current quotations must be attached to the application for any equipment purchase.

Projects already completed, repayment of cost already incurred and the advancement of sport, recreation or social activities are not considered charitable by the Australian Tax Office and are regrettably unable to be supported within this specific program.

Notification of application outcomes

We will email you about the outcome of your application. If successful, the grant payment will be paid directly to the nominated charity.

An Acquittal report is required to be submitted for all successful grant applications, failure to submit an acquittal report may impact future applications submitted to the Foundation for funding.
Presentation

If a presentation is going to be made, care should be taken to ensure that the portion of funds contributed by the Foundation is attributed as coming from Freemasons Foundation Victoria.
