Columba Catholic Primary School

Children at Bunyip's Columba Catholic Primary School got an extra helping hand with their maths this week after receiving a donation of $1,000 to go towards their Extending Mathematical Understanding (EMU) program.

EMU is an intervention program conducted by teachers voluntarily in their own time, and assists mathematically venerable students develop their numeracy skills.

The program is tailored for students between the ages of 6 and 8 years old. The donation will go towards the purchase of maths resources such as counting aids, dice, clocks and play money.

On hand to receive the donation were Principle Ms. Jan Gubbins and Maths Coordinator Mrs. Alanna Clark.
